akamai stinks

Ya know, I can see slowwwwwwwwwww download speeds, afterall the servers are getting hit hard, but the constant disconnects are ridiculous! Give me a slow download but at least let me stay connected so I can leave me desk for more than 10 seconds at a time! AKAMAI $ucks! dotcom

I had a steady download for awhile, its getting better. Steady download at about 275bytes/second! Better now, up to 392bytes/second. It's killing me! Funny, now it says 1985 hours. Is this a joke or what? Too bad I am completely serious. -- Robert Firth

You set and forget it. It reconnects automatically, its great, latest version is no longer free, last free version was v1.94.281, I think, only it and HiDownload will download things that all other download managers won't do.

I set my alarm for 4am Central US Time, woke up, restarted download, and now it says only 58 minutes remaining! Big boost from 90bytes/sec to 430kb/sec -- Robert Firth
